Hi, I’m Grant Ruby.
I’m a music geek that can’t play any instruments (though I want to change that). I listen to more music than most people know exists. I know enough about computers to carry a conversation with an IT department. I live in downtown Lakewood while attending classes and work toward my Masters in Education.
In April of 2010 I was laid off from my position at 101.9 The End (KENZ-FM), and after more than a year of unemployment I decided to give up on more than a decade of radio experience to move home and go back to school. Changing careers isn’t easy, but it’s a lot easier than homelessness. I post a lot about music here and on my Twitter feed. Check me out if you’re so inclined (link below).
