To me they tend to get boring and monotonous real fast. I prefer Chapel Club as the supreme band that, as many say, is strongly influenced by Joy Division. I just couldn't leave it off for next year. The Strokes album was a tale of two EPs, it seemed. The first half of the album is really good, and the second half of the album is really bad. Grouplove was on my best of 2011 list. Didn't get The Black Keys until days after I posted my list, but it's been a good listen so far. Florence showed up under Tiffany's Christmas tree, so haven't had a change to listen to it all the way through. A few of the tracks from Cage The Elephant sophomore album sounded great live at the Foo Fighters show in October.
